more from a trip to Ireland

And here is the start of a new print that i am working on. Unfortunately i have no other references for this other than my memories.

Being a very wet and peaty area everything in this area of County Claire is covered in Lichen and Moss...these gravestones were made from a black stone and peppered with the Lichen..and really caught my eye...So i have made a start, as you can see ..a few different shapes and sizes cut and collograph printed..not a bad start but i intend to make this a mutiple coloured print and get the blue mountains,patchwork fields and surrounding landscape in ..also a drystone wall ..roll on the weekend for some more working on it...Guinness all weekend will probably help things along.
